What Is NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a funding body that provides support services for people with disabilities in Australia. The NDIS became widely available in 2013 and was formulated to give people with disabilities the control over their personal supports. 
The NDIS works alongside registered providers, such as Hunter Care Group.
Hunter Care Group works closely with NDIS to provide a wide range of supportive services to clients who have received funding.
By this, we are able to individualise our approach to clients and families in need. It is our goal to encourage individuals to build and achieve their short and long term goal as soon as possible.

How do I obtain NDIS Funding? 

Obtaining funding through NDIS involves going through a strict process and submitting specific documentation. At Hunter Care Group we aim to support members of our community diligently and are able to take you through the entire process of obtaining funding. This is a free service where you or your carer will be assigned your own personal caseworker to work hand in hand throughout the funding application process.
